Flying Blue releases discounted award seats to different destinations every month. You can save between 20% and 50% on the regular award price. And of course, those offers are especially attractive if you want to travel in business class.
The promo awards are available for travel before May 31, 2026. Business and premium economy tickets include two checked bags, while economy class tickets include one piece.
In this month’s promo awards, we’re seeing a new development. Many attractive promo rewards are now only available to Flying Blue extra members. For normal Flying Blue members, there is only one discounted business class fare: Europe to Cotonou for 127,500 + €582 r/t with Air France.

For the other business destinations, you’d need a Flying Blue Extra membership, costing at least €379 per year. In that case, you can also fly business class to:
- Curaçao for 127,500 miles r/t
- Bangkok for 127,500 miles r/t
- San Francisco for 90,000 miles r/t
While it may sound sensible to pay €379 to take advantage of an offer like 90,000 miles for a business round-trip to San Francisco, we’d advise you to be cautious. It’s unclear how good (or bad) the availability may be for these offers. If you’re unlucky, you’ll pay the €379 and then not find any flights on dates that suit you.
Editor’s Note: Bad news for Flying Blue members. From now on, the best promo rewards seem to be exclusive for people who get the “extra” membership, which I’d consider a waste of money for 99% of flyers. So unless you were eagerly waiting for a discounted award flight to Cotonou, this month’s edition of the Promo Rewards is a reason for sadness, not joy.
Search & Book
These flights can be found with departure anywhere in Europe, though the number of miles and the taxes & fees will vary depending on where you start your trip. You can also book the tickets in the opposite direction.
These prices expire on December 31, 2025 (or earlier) and should be available for flights until May 31, 2026. The number of seats per day is limited, though, so don’t expect daily availability. You can book these flights on Air France’s website. It is easiest to use the calendar by leaving the dates field empty.

Terms & Conditions
Promotional awards come with a few rules that you should keep in mind when booking:
- The award ticket can be used in combination with connecting flights
- Award tickets can be booked for one-way or return flights
- If you run into technical problems during booking or the process has been interrupted, you’ll have to log in to your Flying Blue account and try again
- Of course, these promotional offers will only run until all seats are gone
